The Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School marching band opened their 2024 season by taking first place at the New York State Field Band Conference competition on Sept. 15 in Brentwood. The band will host their home show on Sept. 22 at 11 a.m. at Walter G. O'Connell Copiague High School. Marching Band Director Tristan Hayes said, “We’re excited for the season ahead, and this first win was an exciting start.”
