KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION 2025 - 2026

 

Kindergarten Registration will take place March 17 - March 21, 2025

at Central Administration located at

2650 Great Neck Road, Copiague between the hours of

9:00am – 3:00pm by APPOINTMENT ONLY

 

Appointments must be made ONLINE ONLY beginning February 14th using the following link:

Registration packets will be available for pick up at Central Administration starting February 3rd or can be downloaded on the district website

 

Child must be 5 years old by December 1, 2025

Copiague School District utilizes a centralized registration.

Registration takes place at our Central Office located on Taylor Avenue behind Copiague Middle School.

All Registrations are by APPOINTMENT ONLY.

All registration paperwork MUST BE COMPLETED and brought at the time of your appointment.

Registration hours are daily 8:00 am-2:30 pm. Summer hours are July 1 - Aug 31 - Monday - Thursday, 7:30 am- 2:30 p

  • Residents over the age of four years, nine months and under twenty-one years of age are entitled to attend Copiague Public Schools.
     

  • Kindergarten Registration will take place March 17 - March 21, 2025

  • Children must be 4 years old by December 1st, 2024 and must be a resident of the Copiague School District.

    Please call the Registration office to schedule your appointment for UPK.

    Limited seats are available. 

    Our Prekindergarten program is run off site at the following locations:

    Stanford Day Care

    Marks of Excellence Day Care

     

     

  • All children must be immunized against diphtheria, measles, German measles (rubella), poliomyelitis, hepatitis B, mumps, and chicken pox. Prekindergarten must also be immunized against pneumococoal. Proof of inoculations must be furnished. The only exceptions according to law are a written religious exemption or, in the cases of measles and mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B and all poliovirus types 1, 2 and 3, a medically documented history of disease.

    Changes in School Vaccination Requirements

    Please see the important information below from New York State regarding changes in school vaccination requirements. There is no longer a religious exemption to the requirements that children be vaccinated.
