Sixth Grade Orientation 8/29

Dear New Sixth Grade Families,

The faculty and staff of Copiague Middle School are so excited to welcome our new sixth grade students for the upcoming school year. 

It is our hope that you and your loved ones had a great summer and are ready for the transition to middle school. 

To this end, a letter was sent in regards to our Sixth Grade Orientation Program which included your child's schedule.  Our program will take place on Thursday, August 29th beginning promptly at 10:00 a.m. and will conclude at 12:00 p.m..  

We will gather in the auditorium where I will give a brief introduction and then we will break out to your child's first period classroom (schedules were sent in the mailing).  There, you will meet your new first period teacher, receive your locker assignment and set it up and the building will be open so that our new students can locate their classrooms as per their schedule. This will help your child to be a little more comfortable navigating the building for the first day of school.  

We look forward to seeing you next Thursday, August 29th at 10:00 a.m. and please enjoy the remaining days of summer!
