Second graders in Ms. Daniels’ class and third grade students in Ms. Gaertner’s class at Susan E. Wiley Elementary School worked together to create handmade Valentine’s Day cards for the residents of The Bristal Assisted Living Facility in Massapequa.

Through this collaborative project, students designed and wrote heartfelt cards to share messages of kindness, appreciation and friendship. The activity encourages students to work together while using their creativity and writing skills for a meaningful purpose.

The cards will be delivered to residents to help brighten their day and spread joy throughout the community.
