Key Club: Successfully Saving Lives Via Blood Drives

Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School’s Key Club successfully completed three blood drives during the 2024-25 school year. These events resulted in the collection of 86 pints of blood, which have the potential to save up to 258 lives. The blood drives saw enthusiastic participation from numerous students and staff members, all united by the common goal of making a difference and saving lives. Their generous donations will provide critical support to those in need through the New York Blood Center, demonstrating the power of community and compassion. The Key Club is led by advisors JoAnn Erwin and Erica Zepf.
