Students in Karina Cranmer’s fourth grade class at Deauville Gardens East Elementary School have been learning about the relationship between potential and kinetic energy. In this experiment, students were asked to build a working catapult using elastic potential energy. They were then able to use their knowledge of potential energy to compete in a catapult challenge versus a classmate.
