Young Writers Thrive in Copiague
When Copiague Middle School offered a new writing class for eighth graders last year, taught by English teacher Lucijan Jovic, students Eithan Pichardo and Isaiah Nunez enrolled. “As hardworking, dedicated, creative and passionate writers, Eithan and Isaiah submitted their work to a creative writing contest,” Mr. Jovic said. Both Eithan and Isaiah were selected as finalists and also chosen as the most creative pieces of writing. With the help of Mr. Jovic, they further submitted their work to be featured in the Young Writers Association’s yearly publication. Congratulations to these two published authors for their hard work, dedication and accomplishments.
