To kick off the fall season, students in Sarah Ottati and Matthew Schneider’s classes at Deauville Gardens West Elementary School participated in interdisciplinary apple activities. Students took part in measuring apples and tested whether their parts would sink or float. They then examined the apples’ different features and wrote about their favorite kind. After taking tallies, the classes voted green apples as their favorite variety.
