Dr. Bannon Honored by Town of Babylon

Copiague School District’s Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kathleen Bannon was selected as an honoree at the Town of Babylon’s National Women’s History month celebration on March 25. At the 30th annual celebration, themed “Visionary Women: Champions of Peace and Nonviolence,” 30 women were honored for their service to the Town of Babylon.

With more than 30 years of educational experience, Dr. Bannon has served as the leader of Copiague Public Schools since 2015. Dr. Bannon holds a Bachelor of Arts in comparative history from SUNY Old Westbury, a Master of Science in elementary education from Dowling College, a professional diploma in educational administration from Dowling, and a doctorate in educational administration from St. John’s University.
