Fifth graders in Ms. Haughney’s art class at Great Neck Road Elementary School recently learned about contemporary artist Sol Lewitt. Students reviewed geometry vocabulary and key math concepts while looking at his “open cube” sculpture, inspiring them to create their own cubes.
