The district is pleased to announce that six talented Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School students received Honorable Mention in the Photographer’s Forum Contest, an international photo contest sponsored annually by Photographer’s Forum Magazine and Nikon.

Photographs by students Sage Cofone, Jessica Gomez, Melissa Ochoa, Jari Rodriguez-Montalvo, Kevin Benson and Genesis Nunez were chosen among the approximately 15,000 entries submitted by high school and college students. This year marks the largest number of Copiague students selected to this prestigious contest since the start of the high school photography program.
