Students in Ms. Greco’s fourth grade class at Great Neck Road Elementary School have been learning about the different types of waves. As a culminating activity, the students conducted an experiment where they explored various resources to create transverse and longitudinal waves. Students worked together ¬– using objects like Slinkys and jump ropes – to create examples of waves and recorded their findings.
