As part of their social studies curriculum, students in Ms. Gaertner’s third grade class at Susan E. Wiley Elementary School have been participating in readalouds of different nonfiction texts. The interactive stories help the students connect to facts around the world while also learning to identify different text features such as sidebars, maps, charts, graphs and more.
