As a culminating activity to their math multiplication lessons and to get students excited about math, the third graders at Susan E. Wiley Elementary School went to head to head in a multiplication challenge. Six students from each of the classes were chosen. As a teacher held up a flashcard with a multiplication problem, the student who answered the question correctly the quickest moved on the next round. After going through multiple rounds, the top three students in the challenge received a prize.
