At Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School, Advanced Placement Government and Politics students wrote letters to aging Korean War veterans to thank them for their service in honor of Veterans Day. Teacher Ms. Penyy is a fellow for the Korea Foundation and made a connection to mail those letters to a nursing home.
