The first graders in Ms. Howe’s and Ms. Cunha and Ms. Skurnick’s classes at Deauville Gardens West Elementary School designed their own monster creations as part of a monster match project. Each class teamed up with a school from another location in New York State. Each class created their own monster and then sent directions to their partner school on how to design their monster. The partner schools also created a monster and sent the Copiague first graders step-by-step instructions to make their monster. The two classes will meet via Zoom to see if their monster match up to their directions.
