The fifth graders in Ms. Harned’s class at Susan E. Wiley Elementary School have a bright future ahead of them at Copiague Middle School next year. As a culminating writing activity, the students prepared essays about their future goals, college and career paths and where they see their futures taking them. Their essays were titled, “The Future’s So Bright,” and the students colored self-portraits in sunglasses.
