The students at Great Neck Road Elementary School are gearing up for summer break with 18 days of fun in June. Starting June 1 and running through their last day of school on June 24, each day is themed with a different fun activity. From the bubble day kickoff to red, white and blue colors on Flag Day, students had the chance to have some fun with the different themes. There was a sports day, silly socks and sunglasses, tie dye day and, of course, crazy hair day. On June 16, the students wrote thank-you cards to those in the school who helped them the most. The younger grades colored crowns and delivered them to their favorite nurse, food service worker, secretary and more, while the older students wrote letters on their Chromebooks.
