Deauville Gardens East Elementary School hosted a pajama literacy night for students in kindergarten, first and second grade. Deauville Gardens East teachers performed a readers theater of Deauville Gardens East social worker and author Lysa Mullady’s newest picture book “Red, Yellow, Blue.” The students then went back to their classroom and painted watercolor pictures in response to the book. Each student went home with an individual bag filled with reading materials.
