Annual High School Art Show Displays Student Talent

On May 21, Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School’s visual arts program was on full display at the annual art show in the school’s cafeteria. The impressive displays featured the works and projects of the Ceramic I and II, Drawing and Painting I and II, Sculpture, Graphics, Digital Photography, Studio Art, Workshop, Media Arts and Animation students. The work of senior student-artists who will be attending college next year as art majors was also on display. “Each year the show seems to outdo the previous year, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for the show and program,” said Director of Fine Arts Jennifer Ross-Troise.
