Fourth Graders Build Cooperation Through Team Challenges

As part of a recent teambuilding activity, fourth graders at Deauville Gardens East Elementary School learned the importance of cooperation, communication and creative problem-solving.
Students were presented with six unique challenges using red cups and a rubber band with strings attached. Working in small groups, they were tasked with recreating different structures pictured in each challenge.
The catch? No hands allowed.
To succeed, the fourth graders had to collaborate, share ideas and develop a strategy before attempting each task. Along the way, they practiced essential skills such as teamwork, patience and resilience.
The activity not only reinforced the theme of cooperation but also gave students a fun, hands-on way to see the power of working together toward a common goal.
