Fourth Graders Share Facts on Native American Study

Fourth Graders Share Facts on Native American Study thumbnail181032

The fourth graders at Deauville Gardens West Elementary School have been studying the Native Americans of New York State. They learned how the environment shaped the way these groups of people lived. The students created brochures, trioramas, posters and acrostic poems to show how the Iroquois used New York’s physical features and location to live. Students shared their work with their classmates both in person and virtually.
