NetSmartz Workshop is an interactive, educational program of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® (NCMEC) that provides age-appropriate resources to help teach children how to be safer on- and offline. The program is designed for children ages 5-17, parents and guardians, educators, and law enforcement. With resources such as videos, games, activity cards, and presentations, NetSmartz entertains while it educates.

Alternatives for Youth (AFY)

The program provides parents with an alternative outside of the juvenile justice system.  This program is the first place that parents should call for help with children under the age of 18 who exhibit a pattern of incorrigible behaviors (runaways, curfew violations etc.) in the home.  They provide intake, evaluation and provision of services within 48 hours of initial contact for a period of 30 days.

Operates an array of services for children, youth and families, which span a continuum of care from out-patient clinical and preventive services to foster care, diagnostic and emergency services and other residential programs including our original therapeutic group home program. We serve children as young as six months of age through age twenty one and families from across the Long Island region.

Offers employment related services to Suffolk County youth.  The Center offers youth career counseling, resume preparation, computer labs, job listings, vocational training, video library, phones/fax for job search and career exploration via Career Zone and Choices.  Additional programs include: In-School (ages 14-21) and Out-of-School (ages 16-21) Youth Work Experience Programs, which are federally funded, school based programs for economically disadvantaged, at-risk youth, and the Summer Youth Employment Program designed to provide first-time work experience opportunities to economically disadvantaged youth.
