The student government at Deauville Gardens East Elementary School is participating in a 30-day kindness challenge in celebration of World Kindness Day on Nov. 13. Each morning, a student government member challenges the school to take part in an act of kindness on the morning announcements. Additionally, the club came up with a schoolwide project called “Share a Cup of Kindness.” Each class designed a coffee cup by writing or drawing an act of kindness. The student government members displayed the cups around the school.
