The students at Great Neck Road Elementary School had the opportunity to show off their artistic side during an art show hosted in the school’s gymnasium on April 13. Throughout the school year, the students have been hard at work practicing their different skills during art classes with Ms. Haughney. The students have learned about famous artists such as Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso and Romero Britto as well as local artists such as Jason Naylor and Jen Stark. Students modeled their work after the styles of these artists and were happy to share the results with friends and family in attendance.
