The library contains a large and up-to-date collection of books, periodicals, computers, and other resources that are available for research or circulation purposes. It is expected that students will use the library for quiet study, research and leisure reading. Students have several opportunities to use the library. They can come from study hall with a pass from their teacher. Subject teachers can give individual students or groups of students passes to do specific assignments. Students may come to the library with their subject classes. Also, students may study in the library after school. Also available to students are the excellent resources of the Copiague Memorial Public Library. Students are encouraged to become members of the public library and to use its facilities on a regular basis.
