Congratulations to the Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School marching band for their performance at the Newsday Marching Band Festival at Mitchel Field Athletic Complex in Uniondale from Oct. 28-30. The band took third place with a score of 82, the highest score it has received in more than 10 years.
