As part of the elementary summer program housed at Susan E. Wiley Elementary School, first graders are studying all about spiders. To kick off the unit, students in Mrs. Baird’s class learned some fun facts about spiders and then created their own spiders out of paper plates and construction paper. The students will also have the opportunity to get up close and personal with real spiders during their in-class observation times.
