Fourth graders in the district’s summer elementary program, housed at Susan E. Wiley Elementary School, are learning about the scientific method. Students in Ms. Cramner’s and Mr. Jaacks’s classes learned about all the steps in the scientific method and then worked on testing hypotheses. The students were provided with three pieces of dental floss, all of different lengths, and were tasked with predicting the different sounds they would make when plucked.
