Third graders at Susan E. Wiley Elementary School have been hard at work practicing their multiplication facts for the end of year competition. After spending many months learning to recite the multiplication tables with ease, the five fastest and most accurate mathematicians went head to head against their classmates. Twenty students battled to be the quickest and most accurate and prizes were awarded to the top three finalists: Jai’den Pernell (first), Geovanny Espinal (second) and Alexander Almonte (third). All the third graders celebrated with ice pop party.
