Copiague Middle School’s eighth grade studio art class visited the Brooklyn Museum with art teachers Travis White and Maria Ostrofsky. The students experienced the Inside the Artist’s Studio tour, where they discussed and analyzed a number of works of art. The museum’s educator spoke to the class about the works viewed and the students answered questions with creative responses. They create artwork using inspiration from the pieces they discussed and analyzed. The class explored the museum and many of its exhibits.
