To kick off their unit on apples, students in Ashley Marrazzo’s second-grade class at Deauville Gardens East Elementary School taste tested three different types of apples. As a class, they recorded and graphed their favorite apples. Although the second-graders predicted Red Delicious apples would be the class favorite, they were surprised to learn that the green Granny Smith apples were voted the best by the class.
