In honor of National Read Across America and Dr. Seuss’ birthday, students and faculty at Great Neck Road Elementary School wore striped shirts and read Dr. Seuss books. While students throughout the school independently read some of their favorite Dr. Seuss books, kindergartners created headbands that resembled Dr. Seuss’ Cat in the Hat and enjoyed listening to a read aloud of the story.
