Piecing Together Black History Quilt
Fourth graders at Deauville Gardens West Elementary School recognized Black History Month in February by creating their own quilt. Each student researched a different historical African American figure. They wrote their research on an individual piece of the paper quit and all the pieces tessellate to create a cohesive design.
