As a culminating activity to their study of geography as well as different cultures and their commonalities and differences, third grade students in Ms. Byrnes’ class at Deauville Gardens East Elementary School each created posterboards featuring holidays around the world. The students learned about different traditions in other countries and then created a poster depicting some of the traditions celebrated by their family or a specific country. Students shared their posters with the class as they learned about similarities and differences in holidays around the globe.
