On Dec. 17, Copiague School District’s administrators, teachers and board of education members volunteered to distribute food to the local community during the holiday season. The team handed out 200 hams, 200 grocery bags and 150 boxes of dry goods filled with fixings to complete the holiday dinners. The hams were donated by Supply House and Island Harvest provided the boxes of dry goods for distribution.
