The first graders at Susan E. Wiley Elementary School shared the many reasons they are thankful during different literacy lessons this November. The students created circle maps as a class, listing different reasons why they were grateful this Thanksgiving. Some students crafted their own turkeys, listing all the different reasons they were thankful on its feathers. Other students made hats and others drafted short stories about their turkey creations.
