Deauville Gardens West students recently participated in the Town of Babylon Veterans Day Contest. This year was the town’s biggest submission of 147 applications. Deauville Gardens West students took home multiple awards and honorable mentions. Students read their winning essays to town officials and family members at a ceremony on Nov. 4. Congratulations to the following students: Janiyah Powell (first place); Lilyana Galagarza (second place); Shyanne Hector (third place); and William Billups (honorable mention).
