In a recent social studies lesson, the third graders in Mrs. Byrnes class at Deauville Gardens East Elementary School learned all about the world. The students identified the continents and oceans, as well as the type of climate and animals specific to each location. The students researched and wrote about a continent they would like to visit someday. As an at home/classroom connection project, each student created a globe, which was displayed for the second graders in Mrs. Kelly's class. The third graders practiced their public speaking, while showing of all that they have learned so far.
