The third graders in Ms. Mullins’ class and the first graders in Ms. Loeber’s class at Great Neck Road Elementary School teamed up with their book buddies to share in some reading activity on Oct. 12. The two classes teamed up at the start of the school year as part of “Start with Hello” activities. Since then, the two classes have now “buddied up” for different activities. The third graders assist the first graders with their literacy skills during the book buddy time as they grow their friendships throughout the school year.
