Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School students are building their different skillsets during the various camps offered in the school during the summer months. Whether it’s a love of art, sports or writing, there are camps designed to fit a variety of interests for high school students. Always involved in their community, there’s also a vocational camp that runs for four weeks in the summer. The vocational camp is run like a small business model, and students organized, cleaned, labeled and arranged the district’s food pantry.
