Seventh and eighth grade technology students in Mr. DiGiorgio’s class at Copiague Middle School recently tested out their flight designs after building their own rockets. As a culminating activity to their lesson on flight and aerodynamics, students built their own rockets using kits. When the building phase was complete, the classes took to the outside field area to launch their rockets and see which one soared the highest.
