The fourth graders in Ms. Alpi’s class at Deauville Gardens West Elementary School created projects to conclude their study of Native Americans. Students learned about the Native Americans’ use of natural resources, longhouses, government and how they traded. They incorporated these different elements into their projects. Students chose from one of several ideas to create brochures, acrostic poems, dioramas and posters.
