Students at Deauville Gardens East Elementary School have been busy creating a large patriotic eagle to show thanks to all heroic veterans as a display in time for Veterans Day. During recess art clubs, students in grades one through four spent time experimentally painting and printing with found objects such as cups, sponges, sticks and squeegees. The final collaborators included a group of fifth grade students who cut and assembled the eagle for their display.
