Students in Mrs. Booker-Phifer’s class in the summer elementary program at Deauville Gardens West have been engaging in activities to learn all about spiders. After reading “National Geographic Readers: Spiders” by Laura Marsh, students created a glyph as a pictorial explanation of information they learned about spiders as well as how they felt about spiders.
