The fifth graders at Deauville Gardens East Elementary School participated in a special painting event with art teacher Ms. Embleton at the beginning of June. Students sketched out the Copiague eagle on canvas panels and then used acrylic paint to blend and add texture. Remote students also participated in the event. Each student took home their own uniquely detailed version to commemorate their year as fifth graders.
