Kindergarten students in Jodie Embleton’s art class at Deauville Gardens East Elementary School have been practicing their fine motor skills by making potted roses. They learned to knead clay to mix color, roll with their hands to make coils, and pinch to create varying edges. The students can’t wait to give these roses to someone special.
