Students at Susan E. Wiley Elementary School celebrated autism awareness month in April. Working with school counselor Chelsea Trotta, the students colored puzzle pieces, the symbol for autism awareness and expanded their knowledge by learning about autism. After all the pieces were colored, they were placed on a bulletin board in the hallway to show that we are all “individually unique, together complete,” just like a puzzle.
