Fourth graders in Ms. Newman’s class at Deauville Gardens East Elementary School recently competed their “behind the mask” essays. The students wrote essays describing who they are, as masks can sometimes hide emotions. The fourth graders had to use three character traits that best describe them. The essays are now on display on the bulletin board outside their classroom so their peers can get to know them a little better.
