Fifth grade student-artists in Jodie Embleton’s class at Deauville Gardens West Elementary School have been studying Greek art and the process of ceramics. Using symmetry in combination with pattern and contrast, students learned to use opposing colors to create bold and beautiful patterns similar to those found on ancient Greek pottery.
